Week 16 Waiver Wire and Flier’s

Waiver Wire

RB’s

Kahlil Bell
– If you didn’t add him when I mentioned him last week in the flier column, do so now. He’s coming off 65 yards rushing on 15 carries for a respectable 4.3 average. He also added 5 receptions on 6 targets for 43 yards and a TD. This week he faces the Green Bay Packers who are allowing the league’s most receptions and receiving yards to opposing running backs. The Chicago tribune is speculating that Bell could even start over Marion Barber. Considering that and the fact that Bell already gets the passing down work, this matchup offers flex play in standard leagues and low end RB2 numbers in PPR leagues.

Sammy Morris – In Sammy’s first game with the Cowboys after only being there for a few days he saw 12 carries for 53 yards. If your league has championship in week 17 then you definitely want to add Morris because who knows if Felix will make it out of week 16 healthy enough to play the Giants in a must win game. This week the Cowboys face the Eagles who allow the 9th most points to RB’s and tied for 3rd most receiving TD’s to RB’s. Morris is a flex play in this high powered offense and offers upside for week 17 owners.

WR’s

Andre Roberts – Week 14’s flier mention has scored in his last 2 games since that mention. Coming off 6 receptions on 10 targets for 60 yards and TD, he is on a roll and benefitting from the attention Larry Fitzgerald draws from opposing defenses. If you are looking for WR3 or flex play, consider Andre Roberts.

Titus Young– Week 15’s flier mention landed 5 receptions on 10 targets for just 21 yards but he did score a TD. He’s scored in his last two games and tallied 9 catches for 108 yards and 2 td’s in that time frame. This week he goes up against SD and their pro bowl safety Eric Weddle whom surely will be bracketing Calvin Johnson after his ridiculous week 15. Titus is flex worthy in a potential shootout at home.

TE

Jared Cook – If you’re desperate for a TE then keep reading… Cook is coming off 11 targets with 9 receptions and 103 yards and is facing a Jacksonville team in week 16 that allows the TE the 10th most points, 4th most TD’s and the 10th most yards in the league.
