QB

Cam Newton

Cam Newton finally seems to be playing like Cam Newton. In his last 2 games he's averaging 12 rushes for 73 yards and a touchdown. That kind of rushing production on top of passing stats sets him up as a weekly difference maker at the QB position. This Sunday Cam returns to his home town Atlanta to face a Falcons team that’s given up THE most passing yards to Fantasy Quarterbacks this season for the NFC South title.

RB

C.J. Anderson

C.J. Anderson scored the most points of any running back on FanDay last week while facing a Cincinnati Bengals defense that has now given up the 5th most points to fantasy running backs all season. This week, C.J.’s matchup is against the Oakland Raiders who have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to running backs this year. However, his salary is only the 9th highest among running backs this week on FanDay. C.J. should be a second half clock killing volume back this week at home against the Raiders.

Matt Asiata

Matt Asiata also had a successful Week 16, scoring the 4th most points of all running backs on FanDay last week. This week he faces the Chicago Bears who have given up THE fantasy points to running backs over the last 4 weeks and the 12th most all season. Matt Asiata is priced as a minimum salary running back this week, with 73 running backs priced higher than him.  There is not a bigger Week 17 value, especially after the Vikings waived Ben Tate this week.

WR

Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. has become must start material in fantasy. While he will be highly owned, you certainly don’t want to have to go into matchup without his scoring potential. Over the last 3 weeks ODB has amassed 31 receptions for 421 yards and 6 touchdowns and has scored more fantasy points per game on FanDay than any other wide receiver this year. This week ODB is at home against the Philadelphia Eagles who have given up the 2nd most points and 3rd most receiving yards to fantasy wide receivers this year. Despite all the advantages ODB offers this week, he is still only the 10th highest priced wide receiver this week.

Antonio Brown

Who has scored the second most fantasy points per game at the wide receiver position on FanDay this year? The answer is Antonio Brown. Yet he is only the 4th highest wide receiver salary this week. Brown is averaging 8 catches for 105 yards a game this season and has scored 12 touchdowns on the year. This week he is at home in a divisional deciding game against the Cincinnati Bengals. When they played in Week 14 Brown had 9 catches for 117 yards.

Kelvin Benjamin

This week I’m going to stack Cam with Kelvin Benjamin. This works well this week because there are 52 other wide receivers priced more than Kelvin this week at FanDay. However, only 17 of those wide receivers average more fantasy points per game on FanDay than Kelvin. On top of his salary and production discount, Kelvin is facing an Atlanta Falcons defense that has given up THE most receiving yards to fantasy wide receivers this year. When Kelvin faced the Falcons in Week 11 he caught 9 balls for 109 yards and 1 touchdown.

TE

Charles Clay

Charles Clay is only the 11th highest priced TE this week but has caught 12 balls for 173 yards in his last 2 games. In a week when it doesn’t make sense to pay up for Gronk, because of Week 17 game flow and playoff scenarios, Clay is a great value this week. The Miami Dolphins are at home against a New York Jets defense that has given up THE most receiving touchdowns and 4th most fantasy points to tight ends this year.

K

Connor Barth

Selecting Connor Barth this week was a pretty easy choice. He has only the 16th highest Week 17 kicker salary, but the highest fantasy points per game on FanDay. His matchup is good too. Denver is hosting at home in the mile high air, a Raiders defense allowing the 5th most fantasy points to kickers this year.

DST

Cowboys

Coming in with the lowest Week 17 DST salary on FanDay this week is the Dallas Cowboys, who are facing a Washington Redskins team giving up the 2nd most fantasy points to Defenses this year.
